Physician Assistant - Neurology ICU - Night Shift

From our state of the art INR, surgical interventions and management of complex neurological conditions, we're on the front line of complex, rarely seen care. 


At NewYork-Presbyterian, we're one of Americas first providers of neurological care, and one of the largest stroke centers in the world. Today, we stand as the only academic Neuroscience ICU in our area, and a major regional transfer facility.  Come be a part of an expanding Neurology team where you will manage patients in our 18 bed Neuro ICU, Neurology floor and step-down units. In the Neuro ICU you will work with residents, fellows and attending physicians to care for patients with the most severe neurologic illnesses. While on the floor, you'll cover patients with strokes, seizures, and other neurological diseases. Enhance your skills in the neurological exam and management of neurological patients.

There are currently two positions available for this role. This position will work a majority of night shifts including weekend/holiday rotation. 


Preferred Criteria

  • At least one year of inpatient neurology or medicine experience


Required Criteria 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies
  • Current NYS licensure
  • NCCPA certification
