Pediatric Nutrition Support Specialist - Registered Dietitian

Bring your acute care experience to New York-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital— ranked in more pediatric specialties than any other New York metro area hospital in U.S. News & World Report's "Best Children's Hospitals."  Here you will work with dynamic colleagues and a diverse in-patient population.  You will have the opportunity to educate dietetic interns and staff, as you develop nutrition treatment programs to ensure optimal nutritional care, in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.


The schedule for this position will be 3 days/week: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 9am-5pm, including rotating weekends and holidays. 


Preferred Criteria

  • At least 2 years of inpatient experience as a Registered Dietitian
  • At least 1 year of pediatric experience

Required Criteria

  • Minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree granted by a U.S. regionally accredited college/university or foreign equivalent and completion of an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics
  • Completion of an ACEND accredited/approved Supervised Practice Program in Dietetics
  • Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and certification by the State of New York as a Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist
