Project Leader Information Services – Meaningful Use

As a Project Leader you will have the opportunity to work on one of the most cutting edge projects in Healthcare Information Technology. You will be responsible for the successful planning, management and execution of all projects around the Electronic Health Record Meaningful Use incentive program. This includes the coordination, monitoring, and status reporting of all clinical and technological components related to the demonstration of Meaningful Use across the New York-Presbyterian enterprise. In addition, you will facilitate the interpretation, definition and communication of Meaningful Use regulatory requirements to all stakeholders. You will also ensure documentation and procedures are developed and updated as necessary to coincide with regulatory requirements and system utilization. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to interact with teams supporting all aspects of clinical computing including Electronic Health records (inpatient and ambulatory systems), ancillary systems, and patient engagement, just to name a few.  Bring your project management experience to this exciting role at an organization where the opportunities are endless.

 

Preferred Criteria

  • Degree in Business, Nursing, Information Systems or Healthcare
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or other project management tools
  • Five years of experience managing large complex systems and implementation projects across a healthcare organization
  • Experience managing external software vendors
  • Experience with complex requirements plus technical and clinical workflows
  • Demonstrated success in clinical system implementation, progressive project process management, and change management

 

Required Criteria

 

  • Bachelor's degree or minimum of three years equivalent experience
  • Three to five years of previous work-related experience
