In this role you will develop, manage and monitor medical management performance improvement and patient safety initiatives. Guide the participation of the NYP Hospital in medical management and implementation of the hospital’s quality plan. Collaborate and facilitate with department/service line leadership in review of adverse events/near misses, development and implementation of literature-based clinical pathways, guidelines, protocols and planning and facilitation of corrective action plans. Work with NYP analytics to provide data and benchmarks to support service line medical management and PI initiatives. Facilitate preparation for Joint Commission and other Regulatory survey readiness for the service line, and for organizational initiatives as assigned as well as provide support for survey operations.
