Join a patient-focused, tight-knit team of premier nurse educators led by a dynamic leader, responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs for nursing and nursing support staff.  Float between Medical Oncology, Blood and Marrow Transplant, Radiation Oncology, and IV / PICC line teams in gearing 2017 learning needs to meet the needs of our institution as we move towards Magnet status. Use your nursing experience and education in a meaningful way by guiding the next generation of top-talent nurses! Conduct clinical rounds. Identify the individual and collective learning needs of staff. Use cutting-edge technology (e.g., online learning modules). Promote best clinical practices. Inspire award-winning nurses. Regularly evaluate staff competencies, and provide clinical mentorship and career guidance as needed.

 

 

Preferred Criteria

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing
  • Education experience
  • CCRN
  • Instructor experience Required Criteria
  •  
  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license
  • 5 Years Critical Care Experience
  • BLS
