Clinical Psychologist – Family PEACE Trauma Treatment Center - Full Time - Days

The Family PEACE (Preventing Early Adverse Childhood Experiences) Trauma Treatment Center (FPTTC) in the division of the Ambulatory Care Network of New York-Presbyterian Hospital provides high quality therapeutic services for trauma exposed infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, and their caregivers. The FPTTC is expanding early identification and treatment access for trauma exposed young children and their caregivers and is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill positions made possible by a recent National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) - Category III award as well as a grant from the New York State Office of Victims Services (OVS). The early childhood mental health psychologist will provide Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) treatment for 0-5 year olds and their caregivers, as well as individual and group interventions. This position uniquely offers the opportunity to receive formal training in the evidence-based, trauma-focused, treatment interventions of Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) for children under the age of five, and Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC) for school-age children.
