Registered Dietitian (RD) / Clinical Nutritionist - Outpatient


Nutritionists at NewYork-Presbyterian never stop innovating. The best in the field, our Dietitians use medical nutrition therapy (MNT) to treat our patients and enhance preventative and community care. We employ a consultant-like approach to support clinically diverse cases.

Koch Center, you’ll find a patient-focused, engaging, and supportive environment. The following opportunities will enable patients and families the advantages of a Dietitian working closely with multi-disciplinary providers to insure outstanding individualized, patient centered care during their outpatient experience. We have five (3) exciting full time opportunities starting early in 2018:


1. Outpatient Adult Oncology Dietitians (2 positions) – Weill Cornell campus

  • Minimum of one (1) year of adult nutrition experience after completing internship
  • Certified Specialist in Oncology (CSO); experience in outpatient nutrition settings preferred 

2. Outpatient Adult GI Dietitian – Weill Cornell campus

  • Minimum of one (1) year of adult nutrition experience after completing internship
  • Experience working with GI patients; outpatient nutrition settings preferred


Preferred Criteria


  • Master’s Degree
  • Outpatient experience 
  • Bilingual Spanish/English

Required Criteria


  • Minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree granted by a U.S. regionally accredited college/university or foreign equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical nutrition experience
  • Completion of an ACEND accredited/approved Supervised Practice Program in Dietetics
  • Current registration with the CDR
  • Certification by the State of New York as a Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist
  • Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy, patient counseling skills
