Be one of four Clinical Coordinators supporting the NYP/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital Respiratory Therapy team.  Coordinate all respiratory care related responsibilities during the day shift.  Be a clinical resource and support Respiratory Care staff members, which includes covering clinical areas, cardiac arrest response and Emergency Room. Provide clinical orientation and recommend new policies and procedures. Assist in compiling monthly statistical reports and quality assurance data. Perform all therapies, treatments and procedures as a Licensed Respiratory Therapist.

Preferred Criteria 

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role
  • Demonstrated experience with change-management
  • Experience with quality metrics and we-based reporting applications

 

Required Criteria

  • At least 3-5 years of respiratory therapy experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Current NYS respiratory therapy licensure (or willingness to obtain)
  • BCLS certification required
  • RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care
