The Program Director provides support to nursing staff while ensuring evidence‑based practice, quality outcomes, excellence in nursing care and research development at the Morgan Stanley Children Hospital of New York and Sloane Hospital for Women (referred to as MSCH). This position is also responsible for providing the leadership and mentorship for Clinical Nurse Specialists and in his/her role will integrate simulation. The incumbent provides a framework for the advancement of excellence in nursing practice in collaboration with the other members of the Nursing Leadership team.
These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations at the state and federal levels and New York‑Presbyterian Hospital's policies, procedures and standards.
Minimum 2 years Nursing experience
Experience in project management
NYS RN license
Nursing Leasdership Experience
Nurse Executive Certification
Employment as RN in a Magnet facility
